Talking about Food

Talking about food is something that, for better or worse, we do a lot. We also think about it, dream about it and, most of all, eat it. Although this could probably be referring to the royal "we" I'm really just taking about my husband and I. It is safe to say that a huge part of our initial attraction was about how much pleasure we take in food, both the creating and the consumption of it. We live in Brooklyn and eat everywhere there is good food to be had.

This won't only be about the all the meals eaten out - amazing, abominable and in between. Anything noteworthy relating to our food experiences will most likely end up here. Dinners for two at home, dinner parties we throw and the dinner parties we attend, experiments in cooking, baking and other kitchen disasters and triumphs.

We don't always agree on the places we eat, the food made by us and others, or the places we find our food so, be prepared for contradicting opinions.

We're putting it all in here and hopefully it will be useful, amusing, at times mouthwatering and always inspire a bit more thought about food and your very own hunt for UMAMI.
